Party after Chester Races

DHE_1946.JPG

Last week Est Est Est at the Albert Dock evolved into stylish restaurant and bar GUSTO with a fabulous party for 450 of the City’s stylish gliteratti.

Liverpool stars Andriy Voronin and his wife Yulia were joined by Martin Skrtel and reality TV star David Guest, along with stars of Hollyoaks.

Owners LIVING VENTURES have retained all the elements that made Est Est Est such a popular eaterie from the 80’s to date, the menu still retains a substantial pizza/pasta offering, but there is now more choice with grill based dishes and Sea Bass and Lobster on the menu.

The Living Room, St. Werbegh Street in Chester launched a substantial menu change recently.

The Executive Chef has worked hard to produce some fabulous new dishes whilst retaining some of the old favourites.

Last week I think I really did find heaven on earth…. Every lady LOVES diamonds, precious metals and exotic stones - last week I found them ALL UNDER ONE ROOF…

Stylish jewellers David M. Robinson (my client!) invited me to join them at the Baselworld watch and jewellery exhibition in Basel, Switzerland.

I spent much of the 24 hours I was in Switzerland speechless and breathless as I marvelled some of the most amazing creations in the world…

OK so maybe not every piece was one I would have worn, but you still had to marvel at the design, the stones and the sheer genius that was on display… I have genuinely not seen such beauty, creativity and extravagance in all of my life.

Football in a stylish venue - a great alternative if you can't get a ticket to be there live:

Ladies Day has become an institution in the fashion calendar on Merseyside. With the racing taking almost second place to the fashion stakes.

The Grand National, there is no doubt, is fabulous for our city… But seeing really is believing when it comes to Ladies Day.

NOTHING will stop the ladies wearing their chosen outfits, not freezing winds, the threat of snow, or dull grey skies!!! Literally months go into the preparations – there is the hair (colour and restyle), the nails, the spray tans, the hats, the bags the shoes, the make-up, the underwear, the after races entertainment….. (I am exhausted just thinking about the effort!!)….

The Living Room in Victoria Street last week launched a substantial new menu.

The new menu consists of some of the old favourites and incorporates some fabulous new dishes.

Guests were encouraged to sample as many different dishes as possible, with the new chocolate fondue sweet proving to be the clear winner.

The Living Room change the menu at least three times a year, but this change is by far the biggest one to date.

The evening proved to be a huge success and the new menu proved to be extremely popular

We all have moments in our lives which we know were special…. And they are moments which we know will stay with us forever.

Last week Granada’s Paul Crone hosted a charity event at the Living Room in Victoria Street to raise funds for a charity of which he is a Patron – When you Wish Upon a Star!

Classical Boy Band, and Classical BRIT Award nominated,  BLAKE performed on the night and wowed an intimate audience of  100 people.

Massive thanks to City Talk's Phil Easton for working some magic and making it happen!!
